      Dr. Levitan is a board certified Neurologist with additional training in Headache medicine. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU School of Medicine in the Department of Neurology under the Division of General Neurology and Headache. She is also an attending physician at NYU Langone Medical Center.

      Dr. Levitan’s areas of expertise include:

      She has particular interest and expertise in the treatment of headache disorders, including the use of botox and nerve blocks.

      Dr. Levitan graduated from CUNY Brooklyn College with a BS in Biology and Psychology and completed her MD degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She later completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center and a Residency in Neurology at NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Levitan went on to complete a Fellowship in Headache Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.
